Soonoora is an incorporated start-up created to develop the MuteMovida project. MuteMovida, funded by the Italian Ministry of the University and Research with the call "Smart Cities, Communities and Innovation", aims to develop an active vibration-cancelling system to be applied on local residents' windows in urban centers to reduce the urban noising coming from outside. Moreover, with the know-how acquired, Soonoora want to set-up the technology to perform the opposite process, meaning to transform any surface in a speaker. The Soonoora technology is based on cheap off-the-shelf small vibration speakers and in-house developed controlling algorithms and electronics. Thanks to its R&D path Soonoora offers consultancy services for product development in mechanical and electronics design, in particular in the frame of data acquisition devices (e.g IoT).
